Training Agenda

Marriott Downtown Waterfront Hotel

With stunning views of downtown Portland’s Hawthorn Bridge, Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront welcomes you in grand style. Their bike-friendly, family-friendly hotel is secluded from the downtown bustle but close to everything, including more than 60 breweries. Discover downtown Portland with a visit to Oregon Zoo, The Lan Su Chinese Garden, Keller Auditorium or Powell's Books, one of the country's best-known independent bookstores. Keep your routine at the fitness center and wind down with a whiskey flight and your choice of 150 whiskeys at the on-site restaurant, Proof Reader. The hotel even helps you go green with free car-charging stations (5 Tesla and 1 J-1772), and easy access to light rail transit from nearby Morrison Light Rail Station. At night, rest in elevated hotel rooms with mobile dining, waterfall showers, and more.

The room rate is $179 + 16% tax.  Internet is free, and parking is $54 a night/$25 half day.

Portland has one of the most celebrated public transportation systems, including light rail service from the airport.  Shopping, restaurants, and entertainment are within easy walking from the hotel.

Portland in November is known for its relaxed Christmas shopping.  There is NO SALES TAX in Oregon, and the Woodburn Prime Outlets is a short half-hour drive from the hotel.

An email with instructions for reserving your room will be sent to each trainee soon.
