Dr. Sidney K. Mitchell is a TRIO alumnus of the SSS program at Nicholls State University. He obtained a Master’s Degree from Southern University and worked for ETS and VUB for 18 years combined at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, while obtaining a Ph.D. He has been a National TRIO trainer with emphasis on veterans and other post-traditional students for 21 years and an Educational Consultant for 6 years. His research includes Educational Leadership, Human Capital Development, and STEM. Most importantly, Sidney enjoys the educational journey of leading and learning with others along the way.
